Seattle-based Amazon.com announced earlier this summer that they have begun hiring for positions at their new San Marcos Texas distribution center. Official announcement of the facility’s opening have not been made yet but it should be any day now (construction of the facility had an estimated completion date of June 1 2016).
This new facility is expected to add 1000 jobs to San Marcos with at least 350 of those jobs to be filled by the end of 2017. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package to their employees including stock options paid tuition and generous maternal/paternal leave benefits.
Some of the positions listed on Indeed.com for this new San Marcos location are:
- Fulfillment Associate
- IT Support Technician
- IT Manager
- Finance Manager
- Site Safety Manager
- Onsite Medical Representative
