According to U.S. News and World Report Austin is the best place to live.  Austin has taken the number one slot for the second year in a row and continues to grow and improve.

The “Best Places to Live in the U.S.” rankings are based on a view pieces of criteria: job market value quality of life desirability and net migration.  Each factor is graded on a 10-point scale.

Austin Texas has dug their boots in for number one with the highest in net migration (a 9.4) and overall earned a 7.7 out of 10.  Austin also ranks number four in best places to retire.
