For the second year in a row Austin ranks #1 among large U.S. cities in a study measuring areas with the fastest-growing economy. WalletHub compared the socio-economic strengths of 515 U.S. communities to put together its study. WalletHub based their rankings on 10 key metrics while using the timeframe of 2009-2015 in their study. Population growth and rate of unemployment decrease were among some of the metrics measured.
