Summit Christian Academy is a PreK-12th grade, private, nondenominational Christian school located in Cedar Park, TX. Our motto is: Equip, Enrich, Empower. Summit seeks to equip students with the critical thinking skills and knowledge to be innovative leaders and thinkers, to enrich students through a culture of excellence throughout academic courses, and to empower students through teachers who cultivate a biblical worldview to foster Christian development.
Areas of excellence include:
- Innovation: Summit endeavors to develop in students an innovation mindset whereby they use creativity, collaboration and critical thinking to problem solve. State-of-the-art tools are used to explore concepts across curriculums and in art, computer science and engineering courses.
- Impact Education: Students are challenged and equipped to become servant leaders who will impact their world for Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through Bible-based curriculum, chapel services, special events and hands-on service projects both on and off campus.
- Advanced Secondary Courses: Students may begin the honors academic track in middle school, providing an opportunity to earn graduation credits prior to the start of high school. High school students may earn college credit through 16 Advanced Placement and Dual Credit classes.
- Fine Arts: The fine arts program includes theater, art, and music offered to elementary and secondary students and featuring art festivals, theater productions, Christmas madrigal dinner, and choir performances.
- Championship Athletics: More than 20 athletic programs are offered beginning in fourth grade and going through high school for both boys and girls. Sports include cross country, football, cheer, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, tennis, golf and sand volleyball.
