Leander is a city that lies just northwest of Austin and has become popular for its beautiful scenery and easy access to surrounding big cities like Austin. While living in the peaceful vistas Leander offers, residents are also in close proximity to fine dining and local sporting events which lends to a metropolitan feel. The Deerbrooke community is a master-planned Leander neighborhood offering luxury family homes and brings together small-town charm and big-city convenience.
At Deerbrooke, the focus is on community. The community website explains that “The basis of community, of course, starts with each individual house. Our inviting luxury family homes pair quality craftsmanship with attractive designs that bring family together to share and celebrate life’s smallest joys.”
The community’s four builders are talented and offer luxury residences to fit every lifestyle at every stage of a growing family. Floorplans start from the $250s. Current builders include Monticello Homes, Perry Homes, Sitterle Homes and Waterloo by Brohn Homes, all featuring beautiful open-plan designs, extended covered patios, and modern kitchens and baths.
Beautiful Landscape and Upscale Amenities
When visiting the community, you can see the care the developers took to integrate the community into the landscape. Since its just minutes from everyday conveniences, residents don’t sacrifice convenience for the beautiful landscape. Deerbrooke is also just minutes from bustling Highway 183 so residents enjoy quick work commutes, access to grocery, medical and retail options, and proximity to top-rated Leander ISD schools.
Deerbrooke’s upscale amenities were planned to instill a sense of community and provide common spaces for neighbors and friends to gather. To that end, you’ll find a main amenity center which features an open-air pavilion, flex-use Community Center, a robust fitness center and a resort-style pool with splash pad. Additionally, you’ll find ample green spaces and a network of wide paths and trails of gorgeous, rejuvenating scenery throughout the community.
Deerbrooke is also a pet-friendly environment. The fenced dog park is the perfect place for your furry friends to run around and play while you sit back and relax. After tuckering out your pups, stroll along meandering walkways finished with lush, natural landscaping and wide sidewalks to truly enjoy a closer connection with nature.
Deerbrooke Community Schools
Three schools service the students within the Deerbrooke community. For grades 9 through 12, students attend Tom Glenn High, which the Austin American Statesman called, “the high school of the future.” Just across the street from Deerbrooke, TGHS has state-of-the-art facilities with the openness of a college campus, all while providing an enviable academic rigor that moves students forward.
Wiley Middle has earned a four-star ranking in state assessments based on student achievement and progress. With almost a thousand students, they boast a 14 to 1 student-teacher ratio, significantly lower than the national average. Students in Pre-K through 5th Grade attend Plain Elementary. It is a quick hop from Deerbrooke and services only 850 students. They offer strong reading and math curriculums.
